Frequently asked questions.

  • That depends on which pathway of aerobic gymnastics you are interested in. If you’re new to gymnastics or are not interested in competing, we recommend our recreational classes.
If you have your sights set on competitions, enquire about our TID program (ages 4-10) or our entry level comp squad (ages 7+). More information can be found here.

  • Anything you are comfortable moving in! We have children in leotards, shorts and a t-shirt, crop top and leggings, anything that makes you feel good. Hair that reaches the shoulder must be tied up, and please wear sport shoes, socks are optional.

  • Depending on which program you are enrolling in, we generally do payments for 10 week blocks. We offer mid-term or full term enrolments. Contact us today for more details.

  • Absolutley! Contact us to arrange yours today.

  • Of course, we would love the support! Just check out the Gymnastics South Australia website for all our upcoming events.

  • It depends what session your child is enrolled in. In our recreation sessions we do allow parent viewing. Our TID and Junior Competition squads have parent viewing twice a term.

  • Great question! We combine choreography, music and rhythm training, alongside traditional gymnastics skills, to create an upbeat floor routine. We do not use artistic gymnastics apparatus in our sport, but instead focus on creating routines that gymnasts can do individually, in pairs, trios or groups! Our recreation classes still utilise typical gymnastics equipment to help them gain the fundamental strength of climbing, jumping, swinging and balancing, alongside music and rhythm training.

  • Our Recreation and TID sessions follow the South Australian school terms. You can do a come and try any week, and will be able to officially enrol in Weeks 1 or 2 or Weeks 5 or 6 of the school term. Our competition squads follow slightly different timetables depending on scheduled competitions.
